John Thompson created TA Labs focusing on the value of finding new ideas and acting on them. Striving to create value in new ways he has created products both from a true career technician’s viewpoint and cutting-edge research and development. His belief is that accepting status quo is unacceptable, and will stifle productivity, increase frustration and limit alternatives.

Sharing his automotive knowledge, skills and diagnostic strategies through a mix of writing, training, coaching and consulting, John has helped technicians and shop owners on an international level apply proven diagnostic strategies to think outside the box in and focus on the value of their own creativity in order to find good diagnostic solutions and utilize them.
